Tanya Louise Chapman Principal Solicitor (M App Law (Family Law) LLB BA GDLP)
Tanya brings extensive experience representing both legal aid and privately funded clients across the full spectrum of family law matters.
Her expertise in parenting matters encompasses complex issues such as international and interstate relocation, recovery orders, paternity disputes, and matters involving allegations of family violence, substance abuse, and child abuse.
In property matters, Tanya has successfully guided clients through settlement negotiations, urgent spousal maintenance applications, intricate court proceedings, and Binding Financial Agreements. She also represents clients in Family Violence Intervention Order and Personal Safety Intervention Order matters.
Tanya regularly appears before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and the Magistrates Court. She holds a master's degree in applied law (2021), with a specialised focus on complex family law parenting and property disputes.
Tanya approaches each matter with the understanding that every family's situation is unique, prioritising practical and respectful solutions to family law challenges.
